BCPAS Presidents Message
June 2010
Greetings. It is a busy and exciting time for the PAs of the Bexar
County Physician Assistant Society. (http://www.bcpas.org.)
The new web site which will go active and current on 1 July 2010 is both
informative and appealing listing information important to the PAs of Bexar
County.
It continues to be a privilege to serve as President of BCPAS and
I am appreciative of the many individual efforts that have made this a
successful two years. There is no doubt our field is growing and
moving forward dramatically. BCPAS has continued to grow stronger and build
momentum, as the number of PA's in Bexar County grows. Although PAs have come
a long way we still have a long way to go. We need to grow our membership in
number as well as involvement. We need to continue to grow our positive
relationship with the Bexar County Medical Society. We must be proactive
as a profession and as an organization which is where every PA in the BCPAS can
help. Please get involved in any aspect of the BCPAS. I invite you
to join BCPAS and be proactive. Consider running for an officer position or
volunteering on a committee or writing an article for the BCPAS Newsletter or
local newspaper during PA week or spotlight a PA who is doing exceptional
service.
BCPAS is your (our) organization and is what we make of it.
Chuck Gauthier, MPAS, PA-C
BCPAS 2009-2010 President
