SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS:
Part-Time Psychiatrist: Provides Initial Psychiatric and Medication Checks for patients in the PHP (Partial Hospital Program) of the CMHC (Community Mental Health Center). He/she also sees some clinic outpatients per month only.
Full-Time Psychiatrist: In addition to the duties described for the Part-Time psychiatrist, the Full-Time Psychiatrist would carry a small in-patient case load.
HOUSTON, TEXAS:
Part-Time Psychiatrist: Provides Initial Psychiatric and Medication Checks for patients in the outpatient Partial Hospital Program of the CMHC (Community Mental Health Center). He/she also sees clinic outpatients. This position can be flexible, such as weekends for inpatient call (Friday through Monday); or Saturday, Sunday and Monday; or Saturday & Sunday only.
Full-Time Outpatient Psychiatrist: to complete psychiatric evaluations and medication checks for our Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) outpatient Partial Day Hospital (PHP) and Outpatient Clinic. Some inpatient coverage is occasionally necessary.

FLSA STATUS : Exempt – Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Family Practice Physician willserve as Primary Care and Family Practice Physician for Alamo City Medical Group. This involves the delivery of family oriented medical care services appropriate for an outpatient, primary care health care clinic with multicultural, multilingual patient population. Work performance is reviewed for conformance to policies, procedures, and practices related to family health care delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of an accredited medical school, internship and completion of the certification examination by the medical board of examiners.
- A permanent current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas.
- Board certified or eligible in family practice highly preferred.
- Current medication dispensing license, both federal (DEA) and state (DPS).
- Experience and training must have been progressive and responsible, demonstrating good knowledge of current principles, practices, methods and techniques in the field of medicine.
- Medical experience in an outpatient family medical clinic including pediatrics, obstetrical/gynecological, medical care and non-emergency care.
- Must have updated Immunization (IZ) record.
- Must have annual Tuberculosis (TB) skin test.
- Must maintain a valid CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS and TCLS Certificate during employment.
LOCATION: The position is located at 2211 N.W. Military Hwy., Suite 201 San Antonio, TX 78213.
