Medicare, Medicaid meaningful use deadlines approach

Do not delay in completing attestations

By Mary E. Nava, MBA

Chief Governmental and Community Relations Officer

Two important deadlines are just around the corner for submitting meaningful use attestations:  Feb. 28 is the deadline for physicians participating in the Medicare EHR meaningful use program.  For physicians participating in the Medicaid meaningful use program, that deadline is March 16.

PriMedicus Consulting, Inc.

From a physician's perspective

For medical revenue cycle management (medical billing) from a physician's perspective and motivation, you may trust PriMedicus Consulting to provide professional, thorough, diligent medical billing services to maximize your practice revenue. The core values of PriMedicus stem from the understanding that there is no profit margin large enough to justify inefficient medical collections. In the setting of reduced reimbursement and rising practice management overhead, medical practices are increasingly on the edge of viability.

PriMedicus can provide expertise in timely claims submissions, accurate posting of payments, aggressive pursuit of claims denials, assistance with coding choices and a friendly, helpful voice for your patient phone calls regarding billing questions. Unlike some very large billing companies, we are a 100 percent American company; we do not outsource your patients' personal information to sub-contractor billing companies located in other nations and therefore not bound by U.S. HIPAA laws. We also have an excellent EMR that is one of the few already certified for Stage Two Meaningful Use and loaded with the ICD-10 codes that you will need starting Oct. 1. Cloud-based, originally designed for use with tablets and available with a patient portal, this EMR can meet the clinic needs of the demanding clinician across the spectrum of specialties.

Call PriMedicus Consulting or visit our website to learn more about the services we can offer to your practice so that you can focus on providing the best in medical care.
