More ICD-10 info your practice can use now

in preparation for the Oct. 1 roll-out

By Mary E. Nava, MBA

Chief Governmental and Community Relations Officer

As mentioned in last week's column, the mandatory roll-out of ICD-10 is Oct. 1, 2015.  In order to help physicians and staff prepare for the launch, TMA is offering live seminars between Aug. 4 and Sept. 16 in numerous cities around the state, including San Antonio (see item below). In addition, physicians can register for specialty-specific, three-hour online courses.  To help your practice with the transition, on-demand recordings of ICD-10 planning and implementation courses also are available.

With the mandatory roll-out just a little over 10 weeks away, click here to access TMA's ICD-10 Resource Center, read FAQs and also get specific details on training presentations and webinars.

For local discussion on this and other practice management topics, consider joining the BCMS Legislative and Socioeconomics Committee by contacting Mary Nava.
