Synthetic Marijuana

Victoria County is currently experiencing a surge of residents seeking medical care for complications after using “synthetic marijuana”.  There have been 30 cases over the past three days.  “Synthetic Marijuana”, also known as K2 or Spice, refers to a shredded plant material sprayed with man-made chemicals.   It is sold under a variety of names like “Tropic Synergy” and “Galaxy Gold” in small packets resembling potpourri.

Methods of Abuse

K2 is usually smoked in joints or pipes, but some users make it into tea.

Risks

Synthetic marijuana can be addictive.
