American Medical Association

Texas physicians need a bigger voice inside the American Medical Association, says David N. Henkes, MD, Chairman of the Texas Delegation to AMA.

Dr. Henkes, a past president of the Bexar County Medical Society and past Chair of the TMA Board of Trustees, is featured in a new video urging more participation by Texas physicians in the AMA.

The Texas Delegation to the AMA is dedicated to proposing and passing legislation to help their colleagues improve the health of all Texans – and all Americans. Increased membership in the AMA will increase the size of Texas’ delegation, and amplify Texas physicians’ voice in the national health care discussion.
