As of May 14, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is providing background information on several cases of a recently reported multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) associated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19); and a case definition for this syndrome. TMA has created a digital poster you can share with patients before they arrive that outlines your COVID-19 safety precautions. The poster includes steps for patients, such as calling ahead to learn your practice’s facemask policy, completing intake forms before arriving, and asking family members to stay home.
