FDA Authorizes Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech Bivalent COVID-19 Vaccines for Use as a Booster Dose
Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine and the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to authorize bivalent formulations of the vaccines for use as a single booster dose at least two months following primary or booster vaccination. Continue Reading

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is issuing this Health Alert Network (HAN) Health Advisory to provide updates on recent variant1 influenza virus infections and summarize CDC’s recommendations for identification, treatment and prevention of variant influenza virus infection for the summer and fall of 2022. This program is designed to help high risk children between the ages of three and seventeen, diagnosed with asthma in the City of San Antonio and their families by providing home or virtual interventions, designed to reduce asthma triggers, including environmental hazards and social disparities of health.
